Event Highlights

A big thank you to Meagan Akers from "The Party's Here" for providing festive decorations, including balloons, tablecloths, and delicious cookies, energizing our players throughout the event. Special thanks are also due to Deon Goodwin and Adam Porth, who did an excellent job as assistant directors for the tournament. And a huge thank you to the parents and players who traveled to our corner of the world to enjoy the game we all love.

For all participants, regardless of the outcome, the experience gained will be invaluable for future competitions. I would like you to stay tuned for our upcoming events, including the Starbucks Monthly on August 3 at the Starbucks on Ironwood and the North Idaho Open scheduled for August 24-25 at Hayden Lake Library.

Overall, the CDA Chess Regional Summer Quads was a memorable day filled with competition, learning, and community spirit. We can't wait to see everyone again at our future tournaments!
