Whether you are moving a piece for the first time or need to refresh your skills, our club offers a supportive environment to learn and grow.

We are thrilled to announce a new collaboration with local Chess Master Jim Maki! This is a unique chance for beginners to receive instruction from a celebrated figure in the regional chess scene. Jim has years of high-level competition experience and a proven track record of coaching successful students. His guidance provides an invaluable advantage for anyone serious about improving their game.

Meeting Details

Join us for group lessons with Jim Maki.

  • When: Thursdays from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
  • Where: Idaho State Police Offices, 615 W Wilbur Ave, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815
  • Cost: Only $10, payable at the door.
