Join us at the scenic Priest River Senior Center on Saturday, May 4, for an exhilarating day of chess competition and community spirit at the Priest River Quads, proudly sponsored by the Idaho Chess Association. This event is not just about the game; it's about the community. It's a chance to connect with fellow chess enthusiasts, whether you're a seasoned player or new to the chess world. We look forward to sharing this day of strategic gameplay and community connection with you.

The event begins with check-in at 11:00 a.m., followed by rounds at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. With a 3SS G/60; d5 format, participants can demonstrate their skills in a stimulating environment. Both rated and unrated sections will be available, catering to players of all skill levels.

There's no entry fee; however, donations are warmly accepted and greatly appreciated. They support our ongoing efforts to foster a vibrant chess community in Idaho. Prizes are up for grabs, including a 1st place medal and a $20 reward for each Quad winner, adding excitement to the day's competitions.

Don't worry about bringing your equipment—chess sets and clocks will be provided, ensuring a hassle-free experience. With the experienced Adam Porth as the Tournament Director, you're in for a well-organized, engaging competition.

Please remember that no byes are available, and tiebreaks will be handled using standard systems, ensuring a fair outcome for everyone.
