Format This year’s tournament features two exciting formats to accommodate different playing styles and levels of experience: USCF-Rated Section Time Control: 3 G/40; d5 (three games with a 40-minute base time and a 5-second delay). Depending on the number of players, either a quad-setup, or swiss will be used. Ideal for seasoned players seeking competitive matches and official ratings. Unrated Sections Time Control: 5 G/20 (five games with a 20-minute base time). Swiss System. Sections depending on number of entries. Registration Make sure to secure your spot early! Pre-registration is highly recommended and comes with a discount: $20 for pre-registration (payable at the door—cash preferred), $25 on the day of the tournament.
