Calling All Chess Players to the North Regionals Event!
The Idaho Chess Association is thrilled to announce the upcoming North Regionals Scholastic Chess Tournament, set to take place on February 22nd, 2024 , at Lakeland Middle School in Rathdrum. This exciting event provides a unique opportunity for players across the region to demonstrate their skills, engage in friendly competition, and secure their spot in the next round of state-level events. The North Regionals event is open to all K-12 scholastic players , regardless of rating or experience. This unrated tournament is designed to foster growth and participation among players while celebrating the strategic and educational value of chess. With sections for K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 players, everyone has a chance to compete with peers at their skill level. Equipment will be provided at the venue, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
