Event Details: Your Guide to the Tournament

We’ve structured the Oktoberfest tournament to be accessible and engaging. The event spans three consecutive Monday evenings, providing you with multiple opportunities to play, learn, and improve.

When:

  • Monday, October 6
  • Monday, October 13
  • Monday, October 20

All sessions begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Format:
Each evening will feature two rounds of chess. This format allows for focused play without requiring a full-day commitment. The time controls for the rounds are:

  • Round 1: G/20 (20 minutes per player)
  • Round 2: G/30 (30 minutes per player)

This single-section, club-rated tournament is the perfect low-pressure environment to test your openings, practice your endgame, and manage your clock.
